Rose Court was keen to capitalise on Dragon’s extensive experience in supporting the legal sector and clear understanding of the unique requirements of barristers’ chambers.
Knowing the team at Dragon for many years and having seen their capabilities first-hand while working for other large chambers, Dragon was a natural choice for Rose Court when it came to external IT support.
The founders approached Dragon to advise on, design and implement a highly secure and reliable IT system that would support the remote-working requirements of the barristers, integrate seamlessly with sector-specific applications, while being capable of scaling up as the chambers grew.

Remote access now means, should the worst happen, their Disaster Recovery plan offers reliable back up and allows staff to relocate and get back to work with little disruption.
Dragon was sensitive to the fact that Rose Court was a start-up chambers with limited initial funding and worked with the founders to deliver a cost-effective system.
Dragon employed a cloud-first methodology, the result being the creation of a secure working environment that was scalable and available to access from anywhere and at any time. This has already proven invaluable, with Rose Court having grown from four clerks and five barristers, to having 25 barristers within just a year – with the number of barristers expected to rise to in excess of 40 within the coming months.
Support was also provided operationally, with Dragon assisting new barristers to be set up on and comfortable in using the secure environment on their devices. In the future, Dragon will be providing ongoing training designed to help barristers get the most from technology, as the sector increasingly moves towards digitalisation.
Alongside this, Rose Court’s IT system is constantly monitored and updated, in line with evolving security threats and the team at Dragon continues to test and recommend new innovations and enhancements that will further support Rose Court in achieving efficiencies.
